Terms and conditions for online membership renewal and payment

Online membership renewal

Members can renew their membership online via the Scottish Chiropractic Association (SCA) website. You will be asked to enter data into a renewal form and will then be directed to the secure online payment system.

Membership renewal fees

The fees for Membership renewal are stated on the SCA website.

There is no card processing fee for online membership renewals.

Payments

After completing and submitting your membership information, you will be redirected to the secured online payment system to enter your card details. Payment shall be made through the PaymentSense secured website. SCA accepts payments by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Visa Electron only.

When renewing membership and making payment on-line, you authorise us to deduct from your nominated payment card the amount stated on the renewal form and on our website in relation to fees and charges for processing your order.

Confirmation of Membership renewal

You will receive by email a provisional confirmation of your renewal once your renewal form has been received by SCA.

You will receive a second email and invoice once your payment has been successfully processed. A legally binding contract will not be formed until you receive this second email that your membership renewal has been received and payment successfully processed. We will not be responsible if you fail to receive confirmation because you have supplied us with an incorrect e-mail address. Data Protection

The personal information provided by you will be held by SCA and will not be divulged to any 3rd parties other than is necessary for the organisation of the seminar.

Applicable law

The relationship between SCA and the registrant will be subject to the laws of Scotland.

Force Majeure

SCA will not be liable for any default or delay in the performance of its obligations, to the extent that such default or delay is caused, directly or indirectly, by an event beyond the reasonable control of SCA such as, but not limited to: fire, flood, earthquake, elements of nature, acts or regulations of government bodies, court orders, acts of war, terrorism, riots, civil disorders, rebellions or revolutions, strikes, lockouts or labour difficulties. Such event or circumstance giving rise to the default or delay is a Force Majeure Event.
